Thanks to personalities like Caterina de’ Medici, Pellegrino Artrusi and Bernardo Buontalenti, Florence has become well known over the centuries for its enogastronomic tradition: the famous “fiorentina” (grilled T-bone steak), “ribollita” (a kind of vegetable soup), tripe and lampredotto, gelato, Chianti wine, “cantuccini” (almond biscuits) with Vinsanto (sweet wine) and so on…

Our itinerary will give you the opportunity to learn more about the Florentine cooking, visiting the historical sites connected with the local wine and food tradition and discovering the origin and  the ingredients of the typical recipes. On demand we can organize food and wine tasting (costs are not included in the price of the guided tour).
